60th Anniversary History Talks

An evening of fascinating Old Town history talks on Thursday 30 April at the Manor Barn.

Our speakers include Julian Porter, curator of Bexhill Museum who will be presenting an illustrated talk ‘Scenes from the Old Town’.

This will be followed by Ivor Llewelyn, son of the actor Desmond Llewelyn who played Q in the original James Bond films, who will talk about his father’s colourful life and his parents’ links to Bexhill.

We will finish with a highly-anticipated appearance by high priestess, Sharon Day, speaking about the witchcraft of Alex Sanders, long-time resident of Chantry Cottage on High Street. Sharon will speak alongside Maia Honan, daughter of Alex and Maxine Sanders.
