Community Gardening at Manor Gardens

Our thanks too to all those who have joined the Monday morning sessions organised by Rebecca Owen, Parks Development Officer for RDC. The group includes BOTPS members Edmund Bird, Alison Deshayes and David Powell. Their efforts have made a huge difference to the upkeep of this Old Town jewel. Please email parks@rother.gov.uk if you would like to get involved yourself. We hope to be given the keys to the gardener’s rest room in the cloisters soon – a place for the all-important kettle to be put on as the weather drifts towards autumn. If you like to bake, the gardeners would also appreciate home-made cakes or biscuits to keep their energies up!
