Dr Kieran Mullan MP’s Visit to BOTPS
Dr Kieran Mullan MP

From the left Dr Kieran Mullan MP, Edmund Bird Trustee, Helen Enock Chairman.
Myself, Edmund Bird and Paul Adams were pleased to welcome Kieran Mullan MP to the BOTPS office in August and to take him on a tour of the Old Town. He admitted to knowing very little about this heritage gem, but he came armed with good questions and a positive attitude. He was particularly impressed with the community gardening at both Barrack Hall Park and Manor Gardens, and of course our beautiful hanging baskets, but was clearly taken aback by the volume and speed of traffic along High Street and of course the unsightly bins.

We hope it is the start of a productive relationship, given the many challenges heritage charities such as ours are facing.
