An evening of fascinating Old Town history talks on Thursday 30 April at the Manor Barn.
Our speakers include Julian Porter, curator of Bexhill Museum who will be presenting an illustrated talk ‘Scenes from the Old Town’.
This will be followed by Ivor Llewelyn, son of the actor Desmond Llewelyn who played Q in the original James Bond films, who will talk about his father’s colourful life and his parents' links to Bexhill.

Earlier this year, the Society paid AC Towner stonemasons to clean the memorial in Bexhill Cemetery of our benefactress, Phyllis Dunn. As you can see from these Before and After images, the stonemasons made a wonderful job of it. Later this year, we plan to replace the missing lead lettering.
